Miller-Motte College in Fayetteville, NC, proudly welcomes Dr. Janell Geddis as its new Executive Campus Director. With a strong background in education and workforce development, Dr. Geddis brings more than a decade of experience and a passion for student success to her leadership role.
Dr. Geddis began her journey at Miller-Motte in 2022 and stepped into her new position in April 2024. With 13 years of experience in the education and workforce sectors, she has consistently focused on creating meaningful opportunities for students to achieve their career goals. “What excites me most is the incredible potential we have at Miller-Motte,” she says. “The opportunity to contribute to our students’ growth and make a lasting impact on the Fayetteville community is truly fulfilling.”
Dr. Geddis is committed to building on the college’s momentum by expanding academic programs, strengthening industry relationships, and equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in their chosen fields. Her vision is to ensure every student feels supported, empowered, and ready to enter the workforce with confidence.
Under Dr. Geddis’s leadership, the campus has welcomed several new instructors who bring valuable real-world experience and fresh energy to the classroom:

“These new instructors are vital to enriching our learning environment,” Dr. Geddis says. “They offer our students hands-on knowledge and engaging instruction that prepares them for today’s job market.”
Dr. Geddis also recognizes the outstanding efforts of the college’s leadership team, including Roshelle Colvin (Director of Admissions), Nichole Walsh (Director of Career Services), and Dr. Catherine Leckman (Director of Education), along with a dedicated team of admissions representatives and support staff.

A new Plumbing program is set to launch in September 2025, expanding the college’s offerings and opening new pathways for students to pursue skilled trades.
Miller-Motte is committed to making education accessible. The college provides financial aid and scholarships (for those who qualify), tutoring, and career services support. Strong connections with local businesses also help students gain access to internships and employment opportunities.
For those who haven’t completed high school, Miller-Motte partners with Ancora High School, a Cognia-accredited, 100% online diploma program. This initiative allows adult learners to earn their high school diploma and seamlessly transition into career training.
